If you are a local business, adopt-a-preserve!
Memorialize, honor, or commemorate an individual!

Imagine the Boothbay region without Damariscove Island or Indiantown Island or Ovens Mouth or Porter Preserve or Penny Lake Preserve or Lobster Cove Meadow.  Without them, the fiber of the community, the spectacular beauty, and the traditions of each generation are lost.  These untamed, unique places provide the identity for this region – they define the Boothbay community.

BRLT is responsible for the stewardship of these iconic places in perpetuity.

Your membership is critical to BRLT's mission. Other means of contributing to BRLT include company matches, stock transfers, planned giving such as bequests or charitable remainder trusts, and the donation of land.  Gifts to the BRLT Endowment Fund are a particularly significant source of support.   For more information on Opportunities for Giving, click here .

Membership
Become a member or renew your membership now! We cordially invite you to join this important conservation organization which impacts everyone who lives in or visits our beautiful region. Membership is open to all.  With a basic payment of $35, new members may join at any time.  Other levels of membership are available too including Forester for $75, Steward for $100, Seafarer for $250, Educator for $500 and our most prestigious of all, Conservationist for $1,000 or more. Renewing members are reminded to renew their membership annually in April for the ensuing year.  All membership dues are tax deductible.  All members receive three BRLT newsletters during the year, notification of upcoming activities like the Annual Meeting and Dinner (at which they act on any new business and elect new board members) and invitations to special events.

Preserve Adoption
The Adopt-a-Preserve program offers an opportunity for the community to take an active role in caring for the special places in the region.  Businesses, civic and community organizations, churches and other groups are invited to “adopt-a-preserve”.

Honorary & Memorial Gifts
Memorialize, celebrate a holiday, birthday or other special occasion, commemorate or honor an individual by making a tax-deductible donation to support the BRLT’s preserves and legacy to our community. Make a donation and then let us know if you wish to honor or commemorate a friend or family member. Simply make a donation and then e-mail us and let us know how to contact your friend or family member and the purpose of the gift (memorial, honorary, birthday, holiday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, or other). We will then send your friend or family member a card reflecting your gift in their honor or memory.
